KNOW YOUR WATER
Reservoir levels in
South West England.
Dated readings, official sources and a little context.
Fillumi is building a simpler way to follow local water. While the app is in development, this page brings together a dated snapshot of South West Water’s published reservoir figures. These are not live readings.
Source checked: 6 November 2026. Measurements below are dated 3–4 November. For newer readings, visit South West Water’s official reservoir page.
The regional picture
Total reservoir storage in the South West Water area was 36% on 3 November 2026, compared with 52% at the same time last year. This covers that supplier’s area, rather than every reservoir across South West England.
| Reservoir | Storage | Reading date |
|---|---|---|
| Roadford | 34% | 3 November 2026 |
| Colliford | 33% | 4 November 2026 |
| Wimbleball | 17% | 4 November 2026 |
| Stithians | 22% | 4 November 2026 |
| Burrator | 57% | 4 November 2026 |
| Tottiford / KTT | 18% | 4 November 2026 |
| Drift | 34% | 4 November 2026 |

How to read the figures
A percentage describes stored water relative to a reservoir’s capacity. It is not a measure of water quality or a countdown to supplies running out. Compare the same reservoir over time and check the date before comparing different reports.
Reservoirs have different capacities and roles. Wimbleball, for example, supports the River Exe. A full smaller reservoir does not mean the whole supply system has recovered.
Rain, recovery and drought
Rising storage is encouraging, but water resources can recover at different speeds. Read our November recovery update and why drought can persist despite rain for the wider picture.
Where the numbers come from
Figures are transcribed from South West Water’s public reservoir report. This is an editorial snapshot, with updates published when checked; there is no automated data feed yet. South West Lakes Trust also publishes a dated weekly reservoir table.
