Your privacy

Andrew Beard, trading as Fillumi, is responsible for personal information handled through this website. Fillumi is currently a non-commercial project, with an app in development. For questions about this website or your personal information, email hello@fillumi.com.

Using this website

We do not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. Searching and filtering the blog happens in your browser; your search terms are not sent to Fillumi. Images, fonts and scripts are served with the website, without embedded social-media feeds. The signup areas load EmailOctopus forms and Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection. These services receive connection information such as your IP address and browser details and may use cookies or similar technology. See Google’s privacy policy.

Email updates

When you sign up, your email address is sent to EmailOctopus to manage Fillumi’s mailing list and send occasional news, new articles and app launch updates. Our basis is your consent. You must confirm your email address before receiving updates. You can withdraw consent using the unsubscribe link in any update or by emailing hello@fillumi.com.

We keep subscribed addresses while you wish to receive updates. After unsubscribing, a minimal suppression record may remain to honour your choice. EmailOctopus also processes technical and delivery information needed to operate the service. See EmailOctopus’s privacy policy for details, including international processing. We do not sell your address.

Contacting Fillumi

Email links open your own email app. If you contact us, we receive your email address, any name you provide and the contents of your message. We use this information to answer your enquiry and consider feedback about Fillumi. We do not add you to a marketing list.

Our basis for handling enquiries is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and developing the service. We retain correspondence only while it is needed to deal with the enquiry, follow-up or a relevant legal obligation, and remove it when it is no longer needed.

Hosting and email providers

The public website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection information, including IP addresses and technical request details, to deliver and protect websites. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of this information, including international processing.

Email is provided through UK2 / Stackmail. Service providers process the information needed to deliver their services. We do not sell your personal information.

Social-media links

Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram links take you to those services. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them. We do not load their tracking scripts or embedded content on this website.

Your choices and rights

You can contact us to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, or to object to or request restriction of its use. The rights available depend on the circumstances. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Last reviewed 6 November 2026. This notice will be updated if our services or use of personal information changes.
